Facial Reflexology - Beth Fraser

Facial Reflexology is a marriage of several healing system: the oriental reflex areas, acupressure points, South American facial maps, and clinical neurology.

Working with the face for reasons of proximity to the brain, and using 564 nerve points and 31 acupressure points in the face. This beautifully relaxing therapy works to assist all the body's organs and systems.

Facial Reflexology is a holistic treatment carried out on the face. The particular effectiveness of Facial Reflexology comes from the proximity of the face to the brain and hence the Central Nervous System. During the treatment I will us my fingers to apply firm touch to 15 points on your face - these points correspond to organs and body systems. Later, many other neurological points are worked; there are 564. When they are stimulated they send messages to the Central Nervous System stimulating it to open up energy channels all over the body and address imbalances. After your first session and before you come to your second, based on findings, I will then devise your treatment protocol to specifically target any areas of dysfunction. Three treatments as a minimum are essential to get maximum and long lasting results from your treatments.

Facial Reflexology is particularly helpful for:

  • Headaches

  • Sinus congestion

  • Insomnia

  • Depression

  • Facial and neck conditions, and tension

  • Facial ticks

  • Facial palsy

  • Hormonal imbalances

  • Hearing, sight, smell, and taste

  • Gut health

  • Mental focus and balance

  • Conditions caused by stress, anxiety, and trauma

  • and much more

As well as having holistic health benefits, Facial Reflexology also gives your complexion a lovely healthy glow due to facial muscle stimulation and increased blood circulation - a very pleasing extra benefit. Clients are advised to please arrive with a nice clean face to maximise your treatment time. I do not diagnose or claim to heal. Your body can be your healer. Relax and enjoy your special experience.
